The Second Accessible Publishing Summit is a two-day summit which will be held in Toronto on January 26th and 27th, 2020. The Summit will bring together stakeholders in the ebook production and distribution chain (authors, editors, designers, publishers, distributors, librarians, alternate-format producers, audiobook producers, reading systems vendors, and government funders) so we can share and learn about the diverse range of perspectives, challenges, and opportunities from all of these groups. Additionally, it will be a time to get up to speed on what different groups are doing in order to work toward accessibility in publishing, as there is indeed a lot going on, both in Canada, and around the world. We also want to take stock of what we achieved last year, build on what we have accomplished, and create concrete documentation on accessibility in publishing, reading, and distribution that can quickly be put into practice across the industry. All documentation created will be made publicly available on this website.
